Description

     Watsu® I

27/2-03/03 2009 Watsu 1 with Peggy Schoedinger and Anat Juran in Perth Australia

In the first stage of Watsu 1, you learn Watsu's Basic Moves and positions and how, staying grounded and connected with the breath, you can let the water do the work.

In its continual return to the Water Breath Dance, you find the stillness that is the ground of presence.

In the second stage you learn to connect these basic moves and positions with long gracefully flowing transitions into the Transition Flow. You learn to adapt this to people of all sizes, shapes and dispositions.

You learn about your own body mechanics - how to support and move each person as effortlessly as possible in the water.

Come learn Watsu I in a small, supportive environment with not more then 10 participants where you will receive extensive hands-on practice and guidance.

Learn Watsu with a focus on caring for all aspects of each individual.

We will learn how to provide the best possible alignment for our clients’ bodies as well as our own. We will discuss the physiological effects of Watsu sessions so that we fully understand the benefits as well as precautions for Watsu.

We will also discuss the emotional responses to Watsu for both the receiver and the giver so we can create a healthy, healing environment for each and every person.
